Brushworks Studio paintings are created by experienced professional artists. You can work one-on-one with an artist to create just the painting you imagine.

How Does It Work?

1. Use your digital camera to take your picture.Be sure to use the highest quality setting.
2. Upload your photo or photos during the order process
or email them to us. We'll contact you that we have received them.
3. In about 2 or 3 days you will see an online proof of your painting.
4. Once approved, the painting is framed and shipped to you.

Have a traditional print? Send us your existing photos and we'll scan them for you. Your photos will be promptly returned unharmed.

Once we receive your photo we put it into our computer on a digital canvas and paint over it by hand with a stylist that imitates the look of real oil paint. Even though we use computers, there is nothing about our paintings that appears computer generated. Your painting is created by an artist not a computer tech will have the look and feel of a traditional oil painting. Once completed, your painting is printing on actual artist canvas, stretched on stretcher bars and given a texture coating of clear acrylic which adds true brushstrokes and provides UV protection. Tips For Digital Photos

Most modern digital cameras are about 3 megapixels which works real well. Just be sure you have your camera set on the highest quality setting. The higher quality the better the finished painting. If you have any questions about the settings on your camera, just drop us a note. We can help you get the best picture possible from your camera.

Tips For Prints

Send us your color or black and white prints. 4x7 or 8x10 prints work well. If you are unsure about which pictures would work best, send several to us. We're pretty good at picking the right photos. And, of course, there is never any charge for this. It's all part of what we do.

Scanning your own prints
If you would like to scan your prints yourself, scan them at 300 dpi and save the files as jpg.
